Sky Talk Landline

I have purchased a Motorola E202 landline handset to use with my Sky talk subscription. However, I cannot make or receive calls. I checked on the Internet to see if that model is compatible and it says that it is. Anyone has any ideas on what might be wrong?

@Loukeng are you new to Sky's Talk service? If so when was your service activated? Have you checked with a standard corded phone that your line is working ok?

I have been a Sky Talk customer for years, but this is the first time I have connected a landline handset to the hub.

I have contacted Sky Talk Help and they said that all connections are good, but that no handset was detected...

@Loukeng have you tried plugging your phone into the telephone wall socket rather than your Hub? If you have a black broadband Hub, is the Voice LED on the front panel illuminated?

The light is on on the Hub. When I rang support they told me to connect the wire into the UK labelled socket.

@Loukeng so far as I can see, your Motorola DECT phone should be ok. Do you have a standard corded phone you could try (or borrow one, perhaps)? At the moment it looks like either a fault with the service or Hub, or the Motorola isn't compatible for some reason. It would be good to rule out a phone issue before progressing the problem with Sky.
