Sky Talk International

I have the Sky Talk international package which includes EU countries but Malta is the only country not listed among them.

Have e-mailed Sky several times about why it should be excluded and they are no help whatsoever.

What could be the reason why Malta is not included as it is also an EU member state?

What have Sky said? Perhaps  the volume of calls to Malta means it's not a 'popular international  landline destination'.

Twice they have told me its not included, well, I already know, that but they cannot say WHY its not included.  Have now asked the question twice via Sky Complaints, first was closed as 'solved' when they hadnt even answered, still waiting for response to second query.

I doubt Sky will give you the reason, which will have been be a decided by a specialist policy maker somewhere in the organisation. From Sky's perspective, it's clear from the tariff that Malta isn't included, and no discussion about why that's the case is needed.

@DougW

I doubt it's actually an EU thing: possibly the logistics involved with network connectivity to Malta mean it's not economically viable to provide an inclusive call rate.
