phoneline not working

I need some help my parents are in there 70's and have been without a phone line for a week this is really unexceptable.

I've removed your other post as duplicates just cause confusion. As I understand it they have already reported this to Sky. Sky will check the line and if a fault is found pass it to Openreach for investigation.

do you know how long this will take like i said they do need a phone as there not great with mobiles thank you for reply

the person we spoke to on saturday said someone will phone us i hope it is this week

Openreach aim is to fix fauls within 3-5 working days so today would be day one but this depends on where the fault is.

Something else to be aware of is this link outlines auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

If your parents have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when they first reported the fault to Sky, they will become eligible for it. It’s applied 30 days after the fault has been repaired and will come in the form of a credit appearing on their account.
