Sky Max White Router can not receive incoming calls

HI,

 

I have read a number of discussions on this same topic it has been a month and a half of Sky trying to fix this with numerous attepts.

 

So the issue is I can not receive incoming calls but can make outgoing calls

Has anyone found the route cause of this so I can get sky to investigate correctly.

 

Never had a problem with previous Sky routerAll the usual reboots have been done

A new phone handset as recommended (panasonic) has been tried

 

Just looking for the solution otherwise I fear after 30+ years with Sky I am going to be forced to leave.

@Frank53 just a few thoughts.

 

Have you satisfied yourself that the number assigned to your phone connection is as you expect it to be?

 

Forum history suggests that this issue can occasionally be protracted. Do you know if the issue has been passed to Sky's  network team? They should be liaising with Openreach to get it fixed. Beyond standard troubleshooting steps the front line customer service advisers won't be able to sort this out and won't be able to provide interim updates.

Thanks Mark yes I have checked the number and it has been referred to the network team again. 

it's amazing how many people have this same problem and they can't fix it instantly.

@Frank53 I'm not sure that fixing it is solely within Sky's capability. I suspect Openreach are involved.
