Sky Internet Calls issue

Hi,

I moved across to Sky Full Fibre Gigafast from BT late Oct 2025. I've only just realised that since the swap over our landline can't make or receive calls (it's rarely used).

We had BT Digital Voice before the move and so our landline is currently hooked up to the adapter that BT sent us. Do I need an adapter? Or can I just move my phones main hub to where my router is and plug it direct?

I'd much prefer not to have the phone where the router is, tbh, so if there is an adapter available I'd happily take that route.

@BurnedRope The BT adaptor won't work with Sky Talk (landline service), I'm afraid. Unfortunately, nor will BT handsets designed for use with their Digital Voice service.

The only connection is via the physical phone port at the back of your broadband Hub, so you may need to invest in a standard cordless DECT phone with as many handsets as you need.

Ah ok, cheers, the worst of the outcomes 😥

Is there a recommended DECT phone w/ 2 handsets favoured by the community?

@BurnedRope Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings....

I don't think there's any particular recommendation from the Community. Personally I've always used Panasonic DECT phones and found them to be reliable.
