Porting landline from Vodafone

I've just signed up to Sky and requested my landline be ported from Vodafone. The system didn't tell me until after the order was submitted that the number porting wasn't possible. I cancelled my order.

 

I contacted Vodafone who said there was no issue their end and my number was portable. I called Sky who said that their system showed the number was green and therefore portable.

 

I wanted to signup online to get the best deal so placed another order. Again the order confirmation says that the number transfer isn't possible. I don't want a new landline number. I've read online that I have about 30 days for the number to be ported. How can I get through to a deep technical team who can get my number transferred?

I've just read that there is a dedicated team - sky number port team. How do I contact them? Can someone here get them to private message me?

You can't contact the team directly. All calls are initially handled by the customer services team

the community messaging team who we can escalate too are the only team that we can contact but I know they can't handle number porting
