Now that BT is switching off land lines next year what will take its place from Sky?
I live in an area where mobile signal is often non existent and need my landline. Now that BT is switching off landlines how will Sky make sure that I will still be able to keep a landline?

@neleh01 With the switch off of the copper network happening. When moving to newer technologies you will find that your land line will be through VOIP calls. Thus if there is a power cut you will have to use your mobile.
For the small minority alternative arrangements will have to be sought. But these will most likely go on a case by case basis. But this is only my own thinking.and others might chime in with their thoughts on this matter.
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

The national PSTN service is scheduled to end in late 2025: this is not the same thing as 'switching off landlines'.

Such a thing can only happen with permission of the regulator (Ofcom) and so effectively has been given a mandate from UK government: Ofcom has published information on what they expect from telcos and ISPs.
