No Dial tone but the broadband is working fine and I've tried another phone, still nothing.

Does anyone know the helpline for problems with your phone line? The website keeps redirecting me to unhelpful information.

nope but up to now we have had the phone plug in at the wall. I've tried plugging it into the router and that light didn't come on.

@BonanskiDo you have a filter that plugs into the wall socket or a filtered faceplate you plug in the broadband and phone into separate plugs?

yeah I have a white filter that the phone line and broadband line are plugged into.  Worked totally fine up to a few days ago and hasn't been touched by anyone.

@BonanskiDo you have a spare one that you could check to see if that makes any difference? As these do sometimes fail.

 

This will result in your internet dropping while you change it over.

we tried plugged the phone directly into the wall and there was still no dial tone.
