Need to know if our phone line is digital

Hi we have Sky Ayacucho , broadband and talk. Due to NHS changes coming up to our installed NHS Careline we have been asked to discuss with our Telephone provider if our line is digital or analogue. Can you please inform me how we can find this information.

@Lois2023  As customers we won't know what type of line you have.

You can tell if you have VOIP (presume this is what they mean by digital) if your phone plugs into the back of your broadband router

If not and it plugs into the wall you still have the older PTSN service whch will be getting switched off within a few years.

Hope this helps.

PS your duplicate thread asking the same thing has been removed as it's not needed.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

As @GD1 say, if your telephone handset or DECT basestation is plugged into a Sky Broadband Hub (or the new white Max Hub) in the socket indicated below, and you have a green Voice LED on the front of the Hub, then you have a 'digital' voice service at the address and voice calls are going over broadband.
