Using a BT everyday phone - lots of noise on the line

Has your Sky landline been working ok up to this current fault? Does your phone plug into a wall socket? If so, does the wall socket have separate ports for internet and telephone, or just the one port? If it's one, is your phone plugged in via a microfilter?
