I recenetly signed up for Sky Broadband specifying that I wanted my old number (which is used for business) to be transferred from my previous supplier. The old number is still active and still connected to the old copper line but Sky have allocated a new number instead of taking over the old one. How can I contact a real person to get this resolved. There literally seems to be no way to communicate direstly with Sky which seems hugely ironic to me.....

You can dial 150 from your Sky landline or the 03 number at the bottom of https://sky.com/help
Alternatively you can chat with an advisor on the forum. I have escalated your post so you can do this however replies are not instant and you may not get a chat invite until tomorrow now since it is the end of the day.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your reply but there is no number at the bottom of the page you linked. At one point I did find a number that clained to offer expert help but it appeared to be a premium rate number and I really can't see any reason I should have to pay extra for the right to get what was promised when I signed up.
