Home Phone not working

My home phone is not working, i believe this has been since joining Sky. My broadband is working and i have gone through the help pages and nothing has worked. My phone has no dial tone so i can not make calls and have been told by friends that have called my number that the phone just rings.

Does your broadband hub have a voice light on it that is lit, if so then the cable for your phone needs to be plugged into the back of it.
