Fault on telephone line

I have talk any time with sky but I can't use it as there is such a very loud crackling noise on the line.  I tried to phone 150 to get in touch with sky but it did not work and I only have pay as you go mobiles. So this seems the only way to report the problem.  We use our main line a lot and we are both elderly and vulnerable so it is important to get this fixed  as a p.

I’ll escalate your post to Sky (when it’s more than the 10 minutes old that we should allow) and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

They can check your line and if necessary report it to Openreach for you. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Incidently it may be worth registering with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning so have a look here… ~
