No dial tone can’t make or receive calls

I have no dial tone on my broadband phone

when I try calling my home number it says number not recognised 

having lots of trouble with sky

Are you new to Sky Talk/Broadband? Is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? What do you mean by a 'broadband phone'?

Not new to sky

broadband phone I mean the phone is connected to the sky hub max as per the set up instructions
