I switched to Sky Broadband and Talk a few weeks ago but BT are still charging me for my landline. I rang them well before the switch let them know I was moving to Sky Talk (as instructed by Sky) and they said I shouldn't cancel my BT landline as Sky wouldn't be able to make the switch, and to leave it all to Sky to make the necessary arrangements.
I'm happy to have only internet calls so do I need to keep paying BT for the landline? I'm worried that if I cancel it, it will affect my Sky Talk.

As you are now a Sky customer then you should not be being billed by BT as Sky should have told them that you have switched so clearly as something has gone amiss here I would get back in contact with BT and let them know the date you moved over to Sky so BT can stop billing you and can refund any overpayment back to you.

Re: Do I need to keep renting my BT landline?
@BBBB1 I would contact Sky and make sure that they have taken over the landline and you should no longer be paying BT at all if you have made the move to Sky.
