My new BT cordless phone doesn't make or receive calls, it's fully charged, paired with base etc. Not even a dial tone. It does, however, have incoming call attempts in its call log. Screen shows 'cord line fault'. My corded phone works perfectly. Any thoughts

Don't have sky VOIP, not sure what your second question even means so no idea. My previous cordless phone did work though.

@Mark39 it's a BT4000 model, tried to check what you asked re Digital Voice Service but can't see any reference to it.

As a corded phone works ok, there doesn't appear to be a problem with your phone service so I agree with @GD1 , it looks like a problem with your cordless phone.
