The Hub has a standard BT socket on the rear panel, so as Sky mentioned previously, all you should need to do is unplug your phone from the wall socket, and plug it straight into the Hub, as shown in step 4 of this animation (press Next 3 times). The phone plug fits into the socket marked 'UK' (assuming you're not in Ireland)..

Yes I have plugged it in now.  But although when you ring my number you hear a ringing tone.  Nothing happens in my house.  No ringing and no voicemail.

Check that your number hasn't changed. You can do that by dialling 17070. The recorded message will tell you the number assigned to your line. Check that it's what you're expecting.

@Marc39  If buying a longer phone to hub cable to  connect phone to Hub/Router, many pins should be in RJ11 to BT431A  cable      2 or 4?

Two strand should work, but personally I'd choose four strand as these are generally more robust and the price difference is negligible.
