Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
The Hub has a standard BT socket on the rear panel, so as Sky mentioned previously, all you should need to do is unplug your phone from the wall socket, and plug it straight into the Hub, as shown in step 4 of this animation (press Next 3 times). The phone plug fits into the socket marked 'UK' (assuming you're not in Ireland)..

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
Yes I have plugged it in now. But although when you ring my number you hear a ringing tone. Nothing happens in my house. No ringing and no voicemail.

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
Check that your number hasn't changed. You can do that by dialling 17070. The recorded message will tell you the number assigned to your line. Check that it's what you're expecting.

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
@Marc39 If buying a longer phone to hub cable to connect phone to Hub/Router, many pins should be in RJ11 to BT431A cable 2 or 4?

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
Two strand should work, but personally I'd choose four strand as these are generally more robust and the price difference is negligible.

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
Hi. The voice light on my 4.2 hub is off. How do I get it to turn on?

Re: Connection of Landline to Broadband Hub
@CTF you may not have internet calls, then, in which case the Voice light would indeed be unlit. Keep an eye on it and if your phone stops working when plugged into the wall socket, please do post again.
