Cannot make outgoing calls

Hi have had Sky Full Fibre installed 2 days ago which is all fine and working

 

Can receive incoming calls on landline  (That is now plugged into backk of router)

BUT cannot make out going calls - just receive an shrill tone like unavailble

 

The OpenReach guy said it was not OpenReach as line was up - and to talk to sky

 

I have phoned Sky and they have said it is OpenReach - but i have had no contact from either Sky or OpenReach to advise what is going on - only from my call that it is being investigated - I feel I am in the middle and need to know how to get my outgoing calls restored

Thanks to those who responded 

I turned off for two hours and I now can make and receive calls on the land line

It's not uncommon for completion of activation of the landline service to take 24 hours or so. You could try restarting your Hub by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds. If that doesn't restore outgoing calls, I'd suggest leaving it until tomorrow, then restarting again. If it's still not working fully then, it's best reported to Sky.

I turned off bothe hub and the OpenReach Fibre box for 15mins 

Restarted both

 

Have the same issue -

Internet is fine 

Incoming calls on landline OK

Cannot make outgoing calls - get a shrill Tone (unavailable)

 

Apparently I am supposed to get a Sky Max Router (White one) as part of ordering Full Fibre 500 - but that hasn't arrived yet

Sky are now telling me that I need to power down Router and Open reach for 1 hour not the 15mins I did yesterday

 

Can someone tell me why it has to be 1 hour - I work from home

Presumably a reset or update takes place while they're offline.
