Landline

I have just transferred from BT to SKY re my Broadband.
My Broadband hub is located upstairs, and I have plugged a phone into the hub which works.

However when I try to use my landline phone  downstairs via the Jack in the wall , it doesn't work.
im assuming I lost this when Sky took over from BT. Is there anyway I can have a landline phone downstairs etc ?

Re: Landline

@LionDom Yes phone socket service went dead with the transfer from BT to Sky, easiest way would be to get a two handset dect style phone and connect the base station to the sky Hub and have the second handset where every you need to place it as long as the signal can reach the DECT Base station.

@LionDom a standard cordless DECT phone as @JimM1 posted is simplest. If you really want to use your existing extension sockets, research 'Voice reinjection faceplates' but note that Sky won't support that solution.
