Call kicks off Wifi

Hi there, every time i received a connected call on my landline, it kicks my wifi off, the way it used to do years ago on dial up. I know i need the line configured but don't know how to do it. Can someone please help?

Is your phone plugged into the telephone socket via a microfilter (it should be unless your phone socket has separate ports, one for your phone, the other for your Hub)?

 

If so, a faulty microfilter can cause this. Try replacing the filter.

Phone socket has separate ports and it was a new line installed about 2yrs ago. My son had this issue a few years ago and sky reconfigured the line remotely

You'll need to report it to Sky, in that case.

 

The quickest way to do that is to call (free) on 150. 

 

Alternatively we can flag your post to Sky and the Community messaging team may be able to help via a private online chat.  Note that replies from Sky aren't instant, so you would need to check back from time to time for any update.
