Branches rubbing on landline

The branches of a tree are rubbing against the phoneline. One branch has caused a bend in the line.

Who do I contact to get this fixed?

Thanks

If you believe it's unsafe, you can report it to Openreach:https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/damage-health-and-safety

They may not do anything unless or until the connections attached to the affected line suffer a failure.

@Percyveer

That would depend on who owns the tree, but it's not something for contacting Sky about.

Thanks Mark. I'll contact Openreach

I own the tree.

@Percyveer  In that case you will be responsible for any pruning.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Percyveer

I doubt you'll get any joy from Openreach: they aren't set up for receiving communication from the public (except for H&S issues) and mostly no longer carry out proactive tree maintenance anyway.  As @GD1 indicates, it's your responsibility to prevent your tree from damaging their infrastructure rather than the other way round.
