Hello
New customer here, I think this cannot be fixed.
On my old provider the phone and broadband plugs went into the 2 socket splitter box, that box plugged into the wall socket.
Now downstairs the phone is plugged into the router, that phone is OK but of course the landline phone up stairs will not work.
Thanks to all that reply, Buxman

1. Run a new extension cable from the router to the upstairs phone
2. Try a cordless phone - the base station plugs into the router, and you can place the handset or handsets (kits with more than one handset are available) wherever you wish,

Thanks for the reply Mark.
I think I am looking at my existing cordless phone being left on the upstairs landing window sill with
both bedroom doors left open.
Don't really want an extension cable running upstairs.
Thanks again, Buxman

Help! Wifey not happy with this.
Can I go back to how it was before? Phone and broadband going into the splitter box?
Splitter box into the wall socket?
That way I should get the upstairs phone working again.

Thanks for the reply but that post did not answer my last post, going back to how it was before.

You would need to check with Sky, but it's unlikely to be possible I'm afraid.

@Daniel0210 and @Mark39
Can you please tell me what is the 'big switch off in 2 years' you mentioned.
