Do you have a phone or a tablet as you can install the Sky Sports app on it which will allow you to access these extra streams.

Re: sky sports +

@saint83  it's not available on the sky go app

you need to download the specific sky sports app

It is the Sky Sports app you need to install and use for this as you will only get access to the Sky Sports+ channel via the Sky Go app.

Re: sky sports +

I would like to know how Sky can reconcile this alongisde their claims at the start of the Rugby League season that customers would be able to "watch every game live".  Whilst it was true that every game was transmitted live,  becasue some were concurrent people were neve able to "watch every game live".  However, they were able to watch every game by virtue of the recording system but it appears that even this will no longer be possible.   Assuming that a lot of people will have been drawn in by the initial promises does this constitute an unfair adjustment, if not an actual breach, of a contract?

@Barrie+J from your previous thread, aren't your Sky Sports services provided via Virgin? And you don't have a subscription directly through Sky?

Re: sky sports +

That is quite correct, and I'm still waiting to hear if/how this will affect my services.  However I think the point I make is still valid whether it affects me directly or not.  Or am I mistaken?

Might have been better appended to your previous thread for the context. For example, can you expand on what you mean by the above?

Re: sky sports +

My previous thread was in reference to "Super League+" which I belive is a tatally different product to "Sky Sports+" and, I am informed, is nothing to do with Sky.  APologies if I was confusing.

Up until now, every Super League game has been shown live, on one Sky sports channel or another.  Therefore they could be recorded on whatever Sky box the user has and watched back at a later date.  As I understand it, with the advent of Sky Sports+, although every game will be availble live, this would only be via a streaming service, or if selected, on the linear Sky SPorts+ channel.  Therefore not every game will be availble to wach whether it is watched live or not.

Again, my understanding may be flawed and I am more than happy to be corrected but this is how I have interpreted the information I have seen.

@theredhouse55555

Then as stated yesterday you can still access the streams via the Sky Sports app on a mobile device.

Sky Sports +

I was advised by a Sky operative, that I need to upgrade my current Sky HD box, otherwise I will be unable to view the new Sky Sports + channel (412).

With this in mind, I reluctantly agreed to the migration to Sky Q later this month.
Despite this advice, I find I am still able to view this new format on my HD box that started today 8.8.2024. .
I'm confused...

Re: Sky Sports +

Sky+HD users can access the Sky Sports+ channel, but the full app-based service that provides much more live sport is only on Sky Q/Stream/Glass.
