@caesarome I wrote down all the steps and then he repeated them, to be sure I had it clear:
- switch off at mains
-hold down button for 4 minutes
- still holding button, switch on at mains
- continue holding for 2 more minutes
-switch on box, and continue holding until 4 lights appear. . . . . .
It seemed a bit lengthy which is why I did not do it yesterday, I was busy. But now I do not need to.
all is well that ends well!

I can't really, as that's equally ludicrous!
The only "4" is waiting for 4 lights, but it may not always be 4.
Bottom line: no Sky CS person should be telling customers to hold buttons for 4 minutes. The instructions are well established and haven't changed for over 10 years. Getting something so basic wrong, which would be on "page 1" of the help book, is extremely worrying.

@stephen+mark You need to update your box software to R024.092.11.00p, follow the instructions on the link in post 802 of this thread

The issue is the same as happens after every time change, apart from the last time change where the actual clock was wrong.
When you go into your planner, as the recordings you have, even recordings made since the time change are wrong by an hour.
Surely this can't be difficult to fix after all these years.
