Hi,
I live in a flat with a communal dish. I think I may know the problem (loose cable on communal dish) but want to check if this is correct and what next step is.
I am getting the message "Your Sky+HD box isn't getting a satellite signal ...." on some channels. I followed all the self help advice, and my input 2 is showing no signal (empty bar in services/signal rather than the full white bar for input 1). I took the cable out the back of the box, put it back in again, reset the box and nothing changed..
I then checked with a neighbour who was having the same problem so I went to look at the communal dish. There is a cable hanging down loose so I assume this is causing the problem. Would this be correct? Do we need a Sky engineer with a long ladder to come and reconnect it or can anyone do this? Obviously, living in a flat, we don't have long ladders 🙄
Thank you for reading 🙂

Thanks @Mark39 , @SKY1992bf , @Annie+UK for such quick responses. So I will get my management company (we are self managed) to contact Sky to reconnect the cable.
Thanks for your help!
