Sky tv/remote

Hi, my Sky remote doesn't control my Sky+ box (other than volume) and the screen shows the wrong time. I've tried changing the remote batteries and pressing the remote numbers as per the help instructions but this doesn't help. Sky bot's recorded messages aren't helping. I'm stuck.

Have you tried turning off your Sky box at the plug for at least 5 minutes?

Thanks, did that. Now everything seems normal apart from not being able to turn the tv on or off. I have to use the buttons underneath the TV screen.

Sounds like your remote lost its programming when you change the batteries, try reprogramming it
