It's when you have set it to record future episodes of cat fish and then it won't let you delete or remove series link. @@Annie + UK

I'm sure the people that have never heard of catfish who have the same problem will be interested to know what they did to trigger this problem themselves. Another unnecessary smug reply blaming the people with the problem for triggering it themselves!
I'm not saying people are triggering the problem by themselves deliberately but it must be their usage of the Sky Box that triggers it otherwise everyone would get the recordings and that is definitely not the case
Please stop with the SMUG insults as it is against forum rules 🙁

Ok people let's just leave it at that and all play nice.........
1. there is a confirmed issue
2. it's not user fault
3. sky know about it
4. sky have a fix coming soon because it's a recognized bug that they have identified
5. lets all calm down and just support each other and any new people who join ..
thank you

Well said!

Most people who have posted on here are having the same problem.
If you offer a solution and then get told that the offered solution does not work, please don't go blaming the user for doing something right. Instead, hit the little red corner in the top right hand corner.
For those still having the problem, the fix should be here by April. And I'm sure it will be.
If you're u happy.. Then I suggest CALLING sly customer services and tell them you'll be cancelling because of the poor handling and communication of the issue. Then hopefully they will give you labour discount for staying reducing your monthly bill. Everyone's a winner baby!!!

I'm now getting the same issue with Michael McIntyre's Big Show. Every day it appears in my scheduled section waiting for the next series and every day I delete it. 😖
I hope this fix applies to more than just Catfish!

I've now had the same issue with Gogglebox, deleted all the previous episodes along with "unchecking" series link, yet I've had a couple of new episodes recorded that I've had to delete, on the plus side I've not had a catfish episode for a week now.

Got to love those pesky Next Series entries reappearing. You'd think some of the beta testers would've reported it during the trials for R022.... 🤔

I thought we were all warned to play nice? No need for that at all.

Yes, this is the known bug with Next Series entries that the fix is scheduled to fix (along with the Catfish one). For some bizarre reason the Next Series entry will return for 28 days until it remains deleted. Unless you still have the last recording in your Planner (or Deleted Tab), in which case removing the Series Link on that recording *should* also remove the Next Series entry.

Thank you for explaining that, I appreciate it.

The thing is is that they've always returned and isn't something new. Only difference I saw was they took longer to reappear on the R022 software compared to earlier software versions. How long ago did that Big Show finish airing?

Sky message of 6.01.20 (Federica-C) says it will be sorted Spring 2020. Its now May 1st and I am still getting this vast set of recordings every day when not asked for. Is the software update sorted or not?

We still have the recording issue whereby sky plus keeps recording programmes we don't watch no matter how many times we take the series link off. One in particular is a shopping channel, this is really annoying is it records this everyday. You say the fix will be done spring 2020 has the fix been delayed?

I'm aware a significant update has just been released but this is still happening.
