Exactly the same problem.

Did rebuild.

Did full reset.

Did replacement HDD.

Did forced software download.

Then swopped over viewing card from other multiroom sky box and voila, it worked again!

 

So can sky reactivate my duff card then?

everything seems to be working on my sky+box but when it comes to record or playback i

get a message sky+hd recording and playback are unavailable

Contact Sky to check that the Sky Plus features are still enabled on your viewing card
