Returning Sky plus equipment

We've had Sky glass for a couple of months now and our old Sky+ boxes are sat gathering dust.

Do they need to be returned to Sky?. Don't want to get rid of them until I know for sure.

@Loopylau5  Sky + boxes are your property and don't need returning , only Sky q equipment does need returning

@Loopylau5  You could always use it as a Freesat backup incase of broadband issues.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
