Return of Sky + box

Hi

I moved from sky + to sky Q many many years ago. Now having a clear out and found two old sky+ boxes. I called Sky and  have been told I need to return them. I find that weird because nobody has ever contacted me for a return over the past 10 years or so!

Is the customer service rep correct in asking for this equipment back?

Regards

No.  They're yours.

However, you can return them to Sky for recycling: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-or-recycle-sky-equipment-t2

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

@GraniteSanj

You own the Sky+ box but with Sky Q it is owned by Sky so would need to be returned if you were to cancel.
