Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Paul272 If you have no current subscription service to sky plus then you you can't re subscribe as sky plus is a legacy product sky no longer supports
you would need to upgrade to either Sky Q , Sky glass or sky stream if you want subscription services

Subscribe to Sky Q, get the engineer to put a hybrid LNB on, let him install it, once he's gone whip the q box out, put your HD box back in and then change the input on the dish to the standard half band inputs, put your card in, away you go

Our engineers do not provide hybrid LNB's any longer, I'm afraid.

Even when it is a new installation to regain access to Sky DSat?
Sticking with Sky+ HD is one thing ... putting a brand box in a cupboard and going to the trouble of changing the connections on a lnb is something else🤔
