Try performing a New Install, this will repair a viewing card

See question Q21 in my Sky Plus F⋅A⋅Q

@Paul272  If you have no current subscription service to sky plus then you you can't re subscribe as sky plus is a legacy product sky no longer supports

you would need to upgrade to either Sky Q , Sky glass or sky stream if you want subscription services

Re: Re registering viewing card

@Paul272,

Subscribe to Sky Q, get the engineer to put a hybrid LNB on, let him install it, once he's gone whip the q box out, put your HD box back in and then change the input on the dish to the standard half band inputs, put your card in, away you go

Hi @ThePope27 and @Paul272

Our engineers do not provide hybrid LNB's any longer, I'm afraid.

Thanks

Re: Re registering viewing card

@ThePope27 why would anyone want to replace a new supported box with an old unsupported box with less functionality🤔

Re: Re registering viewing card

Even when it is a new installation to regain access to Sky DSat?

Sticking with Sky+ HD is one thing ... putting a brand box in a cupboard and going to the trouble of changing the connections on a lnb is something else🤔

Re: Re registering viewing card

Even with Sky+ HD's increasing level of functionality loss ... let alone device age?
