MUTV

I have 8 months left of my Sky contract where I get Sky signature and MUTV at a discount. I have a Sky plus box but do not have the Sky HD package.

Because of the removal of sports SD channels I can no longer access MUTV as only the HD channel is available.

Does anyone know what Sky’s stance is on this as I am essentially under a contract to receive MUTV for another 8 months but cannot currently watch it on Sky. I assume I will be financially penalised if I want to cancel the MUTV channel whilst still under contract.

Re: MUTV

@SKY1992bf  I have a Sky Plus HD box and can access all the free to air HD channels. However I do not subscribe to the HD package. Perhaps wrongly, I didn't think you needed to subscribe to Sky HD to receive MUTV, but perhaps you do?

@MutvSue I'm not sure myself I'll ask the question in a closed forum and post back if I get a response

I believe that MUTV is a stand-alone, part-time, Premium channel costing £7 per month.

See: https://www.sky.com/tv/sports/mutv

the HD- or SD-ness is not mentioned on that page, but it does say "Sky Q only".

Re: MUTV

" Sky Q only" would refer to the discount price offer not the channel🤔
