Perhaps worth noting that it would have been GB News itself which chose to make the transponder change which @xenon81 refers to, and they must have known this would adversely affect some viewers in the UK. Sky has no control over that kind of decision, and does not itself own the orbiting platforms.

I'm having the same problem? How do I rectify this?

As per the previous replies, you'll need to have your dish alignment checked. There's no longer any engineer support for Sky+ from Sky unless you have Sky Protect, so you would need to engage a local satellite engineer to take a look. Or upgrade to Sky Q.

I've got sky q. Have called sky and booked an engineer for a couple of days. Checked signal strength and that's showing 50 and quality 90

As you posted in the Sky+ forum, I made the reasonable assumption that you had Sky+ and responded appropriately.

Apologies. I was googling "loss of gb news satellite channel" and came to this and saw some useful info. I've lost the other 2 channels on same transponder so hopefully a realignment will sort it and also get my signal Strenght up.

No worries. I'm sure an engineer will be able to sort it out. I believe the signal strength figure of 50 shown in Sky Q is a bit of a bug so that might not improve a lot.

I have the same problem. Nobody who answered has said what we or Sky can sort this out so we get the channel back

I refer you to @Mark39 s reply earlier:
The reference to SKY Q actually implies SKY will re-align or install a new dish if required (as well being a change of box)

a) dish alignment check and adjustment to maximise a now marginal signal
b) 'zone 2' dish fitting and aligning to increase signal level
c) move to Spain, as the channel appears to care more about its viewers resident there than in the UK (Oh, the irony; )
Note that unless the address has Sky Protect Device Insurance, all are at the occupants own cost when reception is through Sky+ or Sky+ HD.

Hi all. This was resolved with a sky q engineer coming round and looking at my dish had to change some terminal which were corroded.

I smell a rather large rat here - GB news seems to be the only news channel with recent transmission problems. All the usual resets did not work this morning. Yet all worked fine via phone, tablet etc. it is the news channel that is unbiased and honest with lresenters that arent full of their own self importance.

Feel free to believe that but last year GB News moved to a different transponder that has a wider footprint which may result in a misaligned dish losing the channel. As you've posted on the Sky+ board I presume you have Sky+ so will need to engage the services of a local satellite engineer (at your own expense) to check and potentially realign your dish.

See the original posts: the channel owners chose to switch satellite transponder last November to favour expat viewers in Spain and elsewhere on the continent, which means it has a more marginal signal over the UK. Perhaps somewhat ironic given their views on Europe and immigration, but presumably it was a commercial decision.
If you are having trouble with reception at your address then you need an alignment check and potentially a larger dish, but note that Sky no longer does such maintenance for Sky+ HD unless the property has current Sky Protect cover.
'Phone and tablet' will of course work because those are using broadband, not a satellite signal.
For example, UK migrants & retirees living in the south of Spain can now watch the channel via a normal domestic-sized 75cm dish. Other parts of Europe can now receive through a 60cm dish pointing at Astra 2G 28.2°E.
The downside for UK viewers is if they use a smaller Sky zone 1 dish in parts of northern and western Britain. The GB News signal may be more prone to fade in heavy rain. Affected viewers may wish to consider an upgrade to a zone 2 dish (60cm).
