I have just returned from a 2 month holiday and although I can watch channels ok I cannot record any channels. The system says Interactive Services are not available.

Your box would have missed its authorisation signal thus the viewing card will need re-authorising
Try performing a New Install, this will reset your viewing card

@Christmas225 was your Sky box turned off at the plug while you were away?
