Help needed for a Sky+ HD Box

I have a Sky + HD Box, as I'm not allowed Sky Q in my Flats.

i turned my Tv and Sky on like normal, but it said I have a Hard Disk drive Problem.

i pressed the yellow button and did a Restart, it said it still wasn't fixed.

so I did a a Full Restart.

And it is still saying it's not fixed.

please help!

You'll need to replace the box with a secondhand one, try eBay etc... look for DRX890 or the better DRX895 models as these are the latest versions last manufactured over 8 years ago

@Obi123

Note that unless you have an existing Sky Protect policy, Sky themselves no longer provides replacement Sky+ HD hardware or installer support and will just advise you to move to Sky Q, Glass or Stream.

Re: Help needed for a Sky+ HD Box

also @Obi123 , rebuild will save your recordings, there is a last ditch effort to reformat the hard drive (obviously lose all recordings)  i dont know i can post links to the video, but search youtube for "how to format the hard disk drive in a sky+hd digibox". May also be worth a try if the box is actually on its way out and you need to get a new one anyway?

hope this helps
