Not happy, I WAS happy with my old sky + box and then I was notified that this box was now outdated and they wanted me to have a new box free of course instead of the Sky plus box, I held off for months hoping it would just go away. I am not fond of change. I suppose being 76 doesn't help, anyway I gave in and had this new I think it's Sky signature box put in just over a month ago and I honestly think it's absolute rubbish, trying to see what's being shown Is very difficult, The size of the text is small. You really have to sit in front of the television to see what it's saying plus All the programs don't show up at once on the screen you have to go through each one individually which is just time exhausting no I really do feel that I've made the biggest mistake ever with Sky with this box. I hate it. I've been a customer Since I think 2012 I show my loyalty in renewing the packages but I won't be renewing this one. I think it's one of the most difficult boxes to operate and I really do feel that the people who engineer these boxes seem to forget but not everybody is tech savvy. I'm 76 and I just want to put my television on find a program that suits me and watch it as it stands. No I've got the remote in the end most of the night trying to find one thing that suitable for me and it's hard. Give us the old HD boxes back for God sake

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreUnfortunately you aren't able to revert back to Sky+HD. I had Sky+, then Sky+HD, and in 2019 upgraded to Sky Q with one mini box. I got used to the Sky Q interface quickly and wouldn't revert back to a plus box but everyone has there own preferences. Your upgrade probably came with a new 24 month minimum term deal so I'm afraid you have another 23 months to get used to the features, remote and interface before Sky will allow you to cancel.

sky aren't forcing people to upgrade and therefore you had the option to refuse all attempts to get you to upgrade
Unfortunately now you have upgraded you can't revert back

Hopefully you will get more used to the interface on SKY Q although we know it is very different to the old 'it just works' SKY HD.
Unfortunately SKY are keen to get everyone off the old SKY HD boxes hence the offers to upgrade and - we have say slighltly 'biased' messages regarding lack of future upgrades which , in reality, is no different to the last year or so.
On these groups we do try to warn customers thinking of switching but probably most, like yourself, only visit here after the switch which can be too late..
I would strongly advise you to explore all the articles & videos you should find on the SKY Q box in the Help sub menus from the main menu
If you have any specific queries on how to do something pop a question on the SKy Q board and we will try to assist

For clarity, that's almost certainly a Sky Q box.
'Signature' is the baseline subscription channel bundle which doesn't include Netflix.
