Box won't record. App says No Broadband, but everything else on broadband is ok

You have posted in the forum for Sky+ users but the content of your post indicates you do not have a Sky+ box, can you confirm what box you have?

Having fiddled around some more, have discovered I can record future programmes and can pause live tv on Sky+HD Box, but cannot download "on demand" programmes which show up as no broadband.
I have never had this problem before
The Sky+HD Box is around 10 years old.
