Can’t get programmes from planner

Renewed contract this morning  advisor told me she paired cards to sky+ boxes now can't get programmes from planner or rewind/pause  live Tv message says Request was successful your channels will be available shortly. This was 5 hours ago

Why did the cards need pairing to the boxes. are we missing some details here like had your services been restricted or did you cancel and then return ?
