Can one address have two sky subscriptions?

My adult son wants to get Sky Q in his own right. We currently have Sky+. He is currently living with us but our watching habits are different. Is this possible?

No, only one TV subscription per postal address.

If he were to order Q, that would discontinue your subscription on Sky+ and the box(es) would cease to function when a Q LNB was fitted to the satellite dish.

Also note that Sky would not permit a Glass or Stream subscription in addition to Sky+

Sky+ with Multiroom is actually preferable to Sky Q with Multiscreen in that respect, because Q does not separate stored content or keep viewing information on different boxes apart.

What does your son want to watch .... Streaming services might be a better option?
