I have Sky Signature, Sky Go and I'm a Sky VIP and can watch Channel 5 , Sky Atlantic and Witness and record from them but I can't get any of them on Catch Up. It tells me I have to upgrade my package. I have a Samsung smart tv. My sky box is connected to internet. No problem with anything but this. I don't want to pay for Sky HD of I can help it.

I would guess your Sky box is downloading the HD versions by default which why you see the 'upgrade' messsage. Change your default download settings to SD (Settings pr Options menu?) or be sure to select the SD version of these channels to download.

@karennewcastle11 Your TV in this scenario is irrelevant as it has no bearing in your Sky Box, it sounds like your trying to download HD contents when you only have a SD sub. You need toi ensure you download SD content.
Do you have Sky+ or Sky Q?

Thank you both so much for your answers. I didn't realise I should change my download setting. That has worked. I'm happy now!

Mine is doing the same even tho I have changed it to SD but still not working.
