Why no "back in time" in Sky Stream EPG?

Have been wondering why there is no back-in-time functionality on the Sky Stream EPG?  Seems an obvious feaure, and a big failing of the Sky Stream EPG.  Is avaible on othe platforms, such BT TV and Freeview only PVR boxxes.  Just provides navigation to the appropriate catchup app (or local recordings where available).

Seeing how all the content you access via the Sky streaming platform is actually remote from Skys servers (including the apps) I'd imagine this may be the reason this functionality doesn't actually exist as it would almost certainly require more infrastructure resources on Skys servers to provide this.
