I'm currently a Sky Q customer. At the moment if I miss the start of live sporting event (football for instance) and I've recorded it then I simply go to my planner and watch the game from the start. That way I don't know the current score and I can watch the game in full.
I believe Sky streaming has a "back to start" function whereby when you select any live channel it will give you the option to watch the programme from the start - a lot of TV services channels currently offer this service. The problem with this approach is that if I selected the channel the football game was on then I'd see the current score which I'd want to avoid .

If you go into TV guide > sports there is a "restart what's on now" option at the top for each Sky Sports & TNT sports channel. You can restart without seeing the live broadcast.

Thanks for the quick response.
As you say it's one way to do it but it's not an ideal scenario
I was really hoping that Sky streaming would have a solution / function that addressed this issue otherwise Sky Q remains a preferred option 🤷🏻♂️

@JRMG90 If you have previously selected to 'record' a match you can go into your Playlist it will be there to watch from the start without it being part way through a match.

With this make sure when you open it from the playlist you do then select and click "watch from start" and not the "live" button, as it is possible to be caught out by that.
