Your pucks would stop working I'm afraid.
If you own one of them (purchased before Feb 2023) then you are free to sell it, but the other one would have to be returned to Sky.

Correct. You'd have two owned Stream devices, unable to be used as intended.

@Darren5473 if you did purchase online make sure that the device you are receiving is customer owned by the seller

A Sky Stream puck without any subscription can give some functionality, but only with a SkyID.
When I cancelled my Sky Stream service (using a customer owned puck) I factory reset the puck then tried setting it up again. After inputting my SkyID/password it allowed me to use the apps (iPlayer, ITVX, etc) even though I had no active streaming TV subscription.
The EPG still functioned, as did the playlist, and it continued to allow me to add things to it and would track anything viewed on one the apps. The only thing which didn't work were the live channel streams.
I never tried it, but others have reported that turning the WiFi off actually brought the DTT tuner online and allowed free to air channels to be viewed live via a puck.
This was back at the beginning of the year - Sky may have plugged this loophole now. I ended up selling my puck anyway, so can't check if it's still possible.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhole home in effect is the multi room add on that allows you to watch sky tv on more than one device .....
it's been the same system sky have used on most of their systems for almost ever !
turning it off only allows you to use the primary device on your account (probably the glass tv) and the basic version of sky go

If you got an Xbox you will be able to install the sky go app on there and use that in the meantime ....
