This is starting to pea me off now the turn off after you watched a film or program, its now interupting my TV, it does not turn off on Netflex or Prime Video so PLEASE REMOVE IT on your channels, I am griveing ATM and need to hear sound in my flat so need the TV on all the time.
I was just watching Emmerdale on ITV1 and it finished and I went to go and make a cup of tea and came back and the puck was off, It can make it look like it has a fault too, like there something wrong with it, well it acts like it has a bug.
I had Sky Q before so know the Sky Q box does not do this so it can be removed or disabled in next update.
The Sky Q box uses more energy becuase of the big heat sinks it has in it because of its transponders for the dish.
You should not have to remember to move your remote to watch TV uninterupted and you do not always see the notication on the screen and aspecally if you go out of the room at the time.
You can even turn it off on the PS5 console so it don't turn off after 10 mins and on the PC too it can be disabled so it does not turn off after 1 hour, you use the TV all the time so does not make senes why you want it to turn off by itself.
I do not get it, the puck does not get hot like the Sky Q box and Sky Mini boxes do, the puck only gets warm to the touch, Shy Q is hot to the touch so uses more energy.

The big difference between Sky Stream and the devices you mention ... is Sky Stream uses resources on the Sky server to function😟

Stream and Glass are built for use in Europe as well as the UK, and so meet the current EU requirements for power saving. Unlike 52% of the UK electorate, technology companies operating on an international scale haven't opted out.

So its meant to turn of the Puck when its pause on a program then, thats means I moved the remote so why is it going off then, what is it a 10 mintutes, all I did was pause it and go and make a cuppof tea comeback and turn the Fring thing off, its like it wants to be off more then used, sorry but it not interrupting the programs your watching so not been intrusive.
Yes I know about the EU thing but Sky could make a different update for the UK puck only, We are not part of the EU no more, under the Puck it should have UK CA on it, the UK market, not EU market., the puck would have EU on it for Europe, they are 2 different pucks and not connected to each other. and 2 different services.

Its turning off on the Live feed too now when it shouldn't, it a silly idea anyway to have, no mater if you move the remote, it on 10 minis so if you forget(and you do watching something) to move the remote in 10 mins it tuns off so if not in the room making tea oe somthing.
I am finding it very anyoing and its not realy good at the moment on how I am feeling, I end up using the puck as a real puck soon... 🙂

They could however as its a Comcast product and likely for cost and support reasons they want to be able to provide a standard global product/service in all the terrorities they operate in its unlikely they would provide regional customizations to the product.

As @MarkGoldsmith indicates, from the top of a skyscraper in Philadelphia it's all Europe...
