I have Sky Stream are you aware that everything goes on the play list which all comes from the players bbc , ITVX, channel4 & so on ..So what do you get on players platform advertisement , so not only do you pay for having Sky Stream you then are asked to pay £60.00 a year ie £5.00 a month .. since having Sky Stream they  keep putting the price up broad band has gone up everything added together we are talking £100.00 a month.. Not a Happy Customer , & one to answer the phone ..

Very unclear what you are trying to say, but the Stream subscription pays for multiple subscription channels (including almost all those with a 'Sky' brand), plus the underlying service which delivers those channels which are technically 'free to air'.  Several PSB channels use their own apps to deliver on-demand content (including 'Playlist' items) while live service is in the Sky EPG.

 

Whether the Ad Skipping subscription supplement is worth paying is an individual choice.

@Margi34  You're not talking to Sky via the forum.

 

Of course anything added to the playlist ends up coming from either Skys own on demand servers or BBC iPlayer, ITVX etc.  https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-stream/using-sky-stream/using-sky-glass-playlist/article...

 

It's unlikely your price keeps going up unless discounts have ended, have you compered your bills to see where the increase is coming from.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
