Is there any way I can use my sky stream puck with my Macbook? When I purchased my package yesterday (skysports, UHD, ad skipping), one of the staffs told me the puck was macbook compatible. I just found out that Sky Go does not support UHD settings and the puck is not compatible at all. I signed a 24-month contract. Any suggestions?
I might make a separate post about this, but can anyone confirm if ad skipping is not the same as no ads (meaning i still have to watch ads for 30 seconds before skipping it)?

The ad-skipping add on allows you to fast forward through ads and on some Sky on-demand programmes, there is a 'skip ads' button that automatically skips to the end of the ad break. It has to be manually pressed though, otherwise you'll see the ads play.
the ad-skipping add-on does not prevent ads from being shown/presented to you in on-demand programmes. Ads cannot be skipped on live broadcasts, for obvious reasons.

I've no idea what that was meant to mean, but Apple has never built a MacBook with an HDMI input port.
Target Display Mode was a thing on a few iMac models about a decade ago.
