What’s happened to sky?

Have had three Sky pucks so far and updated to Sky WiFi and still it locks up often part through whatching programmes.  And oh my god! The remote control is rubbish... I constantly have to change batteries almost monthly . 

what alternatives are there out there as I'm so disappointed with sky puck.

NOWTV works perfectly for Sky content for me. I've found it to be much more reliable than using a Stream puck. A lot cheaper too.
