So I think I've isolated the issue to Sky Stream's "PCM Stereo" setting.
In Audio Settings try using "Passthrough" instead. With this we no longer need to select the AD version channels anymore.
Whilst Dolby options also work, since Voice is typically mixed into centre channel , you'll find voice quieter with these options.
Seems to me however sky are summing to Stereo in PCM they're sourcing the wrong channels.
You will loose menu sounds using "Passthrough" but it's a worthy sacrifice IMO to actually hear what people are saying.
